Year 6 - Warning Zone
On Monday, Year 6 went on a trip to Warning Zone in Leicester.
Warning Zone teaches children about safety, risk and consequences.
In the morning we split into groups and were taken around 8 zones where we learned about how to stay safe and possible consequesnces of our actions in different scenarios. These included fire risk in the home; risk around water; road safety; risk around railways; alcohol and anti-social behaviour; personal safety; arson and criminal damage; electicity and building sites.
In the afternoon, we went into the e-safety zone and learned all about how to stay safe on-line. We played different games with an e-safety theme.
It was a brilliant day and we all learned a lot about how to keep ourselves safe.
