The Harvest Festival held at our school was a huge success! The children, staff and parents did the school proud, raising £160 which will be donated to the Air Ambulance.
Thank you all for your support and donations.
Congratulations to everyone who completed the Coalville Library Summer Reading Challenge 2017. New Swannington Primary School had the most children completing the challenge from schools in the local area. A member of staff from Coalville Library presented us with the cup for the third year in a row. Fantastic!
A big thank you to all of the grandparents and great grandparents who visited Year 1.
Year 3 and 4 visited Bradgate Park recently as part of their Geography work.
On Monday, Year 6 went on a trip to Warning Zone in Leicester.
Volunteers Tea Party
May Dancing was the main event on a fun packed day!
As tradition has it, on the last day of spring term, we held our decorated egg and egg rolling competitions.
Today, we had the first day of 100% attendance throughout the whole school.
Children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 had a great day at the farm.
Once again we have Living Eggs in school for two weeks.
