Andy, a published poet and specialist poetry teacher, led an assembly to share some of his poems and then worked with each class to write and perform their own poetry. We ended the day with a sharing assembly where each class shared some of their work. The poems ranged from Weather Word Poems and Tongue-Twisters to ‘20 word poems,’ and everyone had great fun performing them. You can see a selection of the poems displayed by the school library.
